This Blog will reflect the veiws of the night sky as seen from my location in the Northern hemisphere. The images will be both as true colour as I can achieve or a stylised view to reflect the beauty in the sky as perceive it.
Star trails are caused when a camera is mounted on a fixed tripod, and the Earth moves below it during a long exposure.

This is the first target for both a telescope or camera.
The full moon seen here is the brightest object to appear in the night sky.
